The qualification of R.E.D. Handicapped Buddy concentrates on supporting the R.E.D. handicapped as well as the R.E.D. Master Instructor and accompanies people with limited physical and mental abilities according to pda standards. The qualification includes the handling of many different kinds of disabilities like spinal injuries, hemiplegia, traumatic head injuries, cerebral paralyzation, amputations, multiple sclerosis, every kind of partial sight and hearing defects, asthma, diabetes up to epilepsy. After a R.E.D. Handicapped Buddy has obtained the status of a pda-rec instructor an upgrade for the certification of a R.E.D. Handicapped Instructor is possible.
